Somebody at the N&O sports desk is playing deep-catalog trivia:
'57 Tar Heels No. 1; won 'em all played just for fun
It's a quote,* but the quote isn't mentioned anywhere in the story. Who wants to take a swing at naming the source? And do you think there are enough copies out there for the hed to work?
* Yes, it's missing a comma -- the sort that can make a drastic difference in meaning. Somebody at the N&O desk doesn't get any dessert tonight.

Some lucky employees also have the OBC White Album, with two cuts of vintage Andy Griffith and two (!) takes of "All The Way Choo Choo."
Holy mackerel! The White Album! Mine got lost in the shuffle of the last couple of moves (alas!). What I really regret is that I didn't swipe any of those MacNelly originals I found in a box upstairs. I didn't even tell anyone where they were and Alex says they most likely were tossed when the paper was sold.
The one I liked best depicted Gene McCarthy's campaign as a battered VW bus. Them was the days.
